The Gdańsk and Szczecin shipyards signed an agreement on Friday in a bid to strengthen their position on the European and global markets and promote the development of the domestic shipbuilding sector, the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) has reported. The 'Polish Shipyards' agreement was signed by the two shipyards and the government-run ARP, according to the agency's statement. The two companies will share their experience in infrastructure, order backlog and staff qualification to jointly bid for and carry out European and global contracts.
