I. IVF BUDGET RAISE
The raise of the budget of the International Visegrad Fund was officially approved by the V4 Prime Ministers on the Summit in Visegrad on 10 October 2006. From 2007 the overall budget of the Fund increases from €3.2 mil. to €5 mil.
As part of the raise of the Fund's budget, the budgets of all grant schemes and scholarship programmes are increased. Furthermore, a new program, Visegrad Artist Residency Programme, is introduced for 2007 (details further).
II. GRANT SCHEMES - OVERVIEW
II.1 Small Grants:
2007 Budget: €512,000
Deadlines: March 1, June 1, September 1, December 1
Supported amounts: up to €4,000 (covering max. 50% of the total budget)
II.2 Standard Grants:
2007 Budget: €2,200,000
Deadlines: March 15 and September 15
Supported amounts: from €4,001 (covering max. 50% of the total budget)
II.3 Visegrad Strategic Programme:
2007 Budget: €300,000
Deadline: February 15, May 15
Supported amounts: usually €40,000 - €200,000 (max. 50% of the total budget)

II.4 Artist Residency Programme:
Exchange programme for V4 artists to work in the other V4 countries (i.e. 3-month residencies in art institutions)

III. SCHOLARSHIPS
2007 Total Budget: €1,306,000
Deadline: January 31, 2007
Both graduate and postgraduate (Master's and Doctoral)
III.1 IVF Outgoing Scholarships
The following hosting countries are eligible for the IVF Out-Going Scholarship Programme: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Moldova, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine.
III.2 Intra-Visegrad Scholarships
Scholarships for students studying in one of the other three V4 countries.
III.3 IVF In-coming Scholarships
The following countries are eligible for the IVF In-Coming Scholarship Programme: Belarus, Croatia, Moldova, Russia and Serbia.
III.4 Ukrainian Scholarships
For students from Ukraine studying in the V4 countries.

IV. NEW WEBSITE
On 10 October 2007, the V4 Prime Ministers officially opened the new website of the Visegrad Group. Available at
www.visegradgroup.eu, the website features the basic information about the cooperation and the V4 member states in all V4 languages and in English, and offers over 700 links to various institutions in the Visegrad countries. Also, the website contains many articles and essays concerning the history, present and the future of V4 and a unique on-line dictionary which translates among Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak and English.
V. "MEETING WITH VISEGRÁD"
On 14 November, the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the International Visegrad Fund organize the first of a series of meetings with the media and representatives of NGOs which will take place from 14 o'clock in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Entrance upon reservation. The meeting will describe the concept of the Visegrad cooperation and will present the programs of the International Visegrad Fund.

VI. APPROVED PROJECTS
In the September deadline, the Fund approved 84 projects within the Standard Grant scheme in the total value of €799,825. For a list of approved projects, please see
