The following three types of scholarships are offered within both Master's and Post-Master's (Postgraduate) scholarships schemes:
INTRA-VISEGRAD SCHOLARSHIPS
for scholars who are citizens of one of V4 countries who plan to study in V4 country other than that of residence
OUT-GOING SCHOLARSHIPS ("OUT OF VISEGRAD")
for outstanding scholars who are citizens of one of V4 countries to study at any accredited public or private university in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine.
IN-COMING SCHOLARSHIPS ("INTO VISEGRAD")
for scholars who intend to study at V4 universities (in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia) and who are citizens of one of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, the Russian Federation, Serbia and Ukraine. Please note that Kosovar scholars are also eligible for the scholarships.
Applicants
Applicants must have successfully finished at least 4 semesters at their home university.
Host/Home Universities or Institutions
All universities accredited by the respective governments (education ministries) and institutes of academies of sciences are eligible to be host as well as home institutions.
Budget
The 2009 scholarship budget is €1,884,000 which amounts to approx. 400 semesters of scholarships in total.
