II. NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
Ambassador Kristóf Forrai of Hungary has been appointed the Executive Director of the International Visegrad Fund, replacing Mr. Andrzej Jagodziński of Poland, whose three-year mission in the IVF ended on 31 July 2006.
III. GRANTS APPROVED:
In June 2006, in the last grant deadline, the IVF approved 31 small grants in the total amount of almost €115,000. The trend of growing number of applicants and improvement in quality of the applications has continued. Most of the grants were in the fields of culture and education. IV. NEXT GRANT DEADLINES:
The next deadline for
Small Grants is September 1, 2006, for

V. V4 MEETINGS:
The 13th annual meeting of V4 Ministers of Environment took place in Košice, Slovakia, on May 4-5, 2006.
