Cyberspace is a global phenomenon and it therefore requires global cooperation to address problems connected with cyberspace, Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi said on Thursday in his keynote speech at a two-day international conference. Prime Minister Viktor Orban told the conference that the IT sector has a promising future in Hungary. An international consensus is needed in shaping the future of cyberspace, British Foreign Secretary William Hague said at the event. He added this was "urgent" and "unavoidable". Both freedom and security of the internet must be ensured, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt argued.
