Slovak President Zuzana Caputova on Friday sent a telegram of condolence to her Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in response to the plane crash in Almaty that claimed the lives of at least 12 people earlier in the day. "It was with sorrow that I heard the news of the disaster involving a civilian aircraft of Kazakh airline Bek Air in Almaty. On behalf of the people of Slovakia and myself, I wish to express my sympathy to you, the families and close ones of the victims, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured," wrote Caputova, according to her spokesman Martin Strizinec.
