Almost 2,700 Ukrainians enter Slovakia on Sunday

June 13th, 2022

A total of 2,667 people from Ukraine entered Slovakia via the Slovak-Ukrainian border on Sunday, of whom 611 were men, 1,453 women and 603 children, the Interior Ministry has reported. Of the total, 43 have applied for temporary refuge in Slovakia. At the same time, 2,531 people crossed into Ukraine via the same border. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Slovakia has processed 507,934 refugees from that country.
