US Steel Kosice to build new production line

The steelworks US Steel Kosice will build a new line for the production of non-grain oriented electrical steel, USSK President James E. Bruno said on Wednesday after a joint meeting of the company management with representatives of the Slovak government. The new production line representing an investment worth 130 million dollars will have a capacity of about 100,000 tonnes per year. The construction will start in mid-2019 and the launch is planned for the fourth quarter of 2020.
