V4 Heads of Government Meet Ukrainian Prime Minister

Visegrad Group Prime Ministers met their Ukrainian counterpart at the 26th Economic Forum in Krynica on September 6, 2016


Prime Ministers of the Visegrad Group and Ukraine emphasized the significance of long-term cooperation, which stimulates development in partner countries and fosters stability in Central and Eastern Europe.


The Visegrad Group countries reiterated their strong support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and confirmed the policy of non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. They further expressed their support for the recent ceasefire in Donbas as of September 1 and called upon all sides to abide by it and restrain from actions which destabilize the situation in the region. The Prime Ministers agreed that the full implementation of the Minsk Agreements by all sides is the basis for a peaceful settlement in the Eastern Ukraine [...].
